- Lived Experience: Rosie Sims, founder of A People of Prosperity, draws from her lived experience of homelessness (with 2 young children) in Washington State. She received support through the SHARE Aspire in Vancouver, utilized housing assistance in the Tri-Cities, and found safety through a local domestic violence shelter. Her journey fuels her commitment to helping others move from poverty-to-prosperity in housing and employment.
- Her 5 Years Experience: As an Employment Specialist at the AARP Foundation SCSEP Program, it has given her the exceptional experience needed to assist others in succeeding in the current job market. Her role at AARP provided her with skills needed to locate business partnerships, and participants with skills training to match the needs of the employers with great success.

Pierce County, WA has a shortage of affordable housing which has contributed to homelessness, as so many residences have been priced out of their homes and are currently unhoused, seeking new residence. So, we have partnered with a Shared Living Community in Pierce County to house individuals looking for an affordable place to thrive, prosper, and gain stability, and self-sufficiency.
